The nude denotes in his work a clear eroticising tendency that leads the painting to other fields without leaving the confrontation spirit. Conde Corbal dignifies, above all, the human figure and the nude appears as if its own strength would fill the canvas: from here it comes a monumentality that is quite rare in the history or our painting.
